1. Where do we meet for classes?
Classes are held at Graceland Baptist Church, 3600 Kamer Miller Rd, New Albany, IN 47150

2. For what grades do you offer classes?

Classes are available for grades 1-12. Elementary school is 6th grade and under. Upper school is 7th-12th grade.

3. Do parents have to stay on campus while a students is taking classes?

For students in grades 6 and under, a parent is required to be on campus at all times. The parent is also
expected to attend core classes in order to be familiar with material covered and to understand and assist
with assignments. The parent is encouraged to attend elective classes as well.

4. How do we apply to be a part of Cornerstone?

New family enrollment is closed for the 2025/2026 school year. Check back in February and fill out the application on our website for 2026/2027.

5. May I register my student for just one class? 

You may register your student for any number of classes; however, students should be aware that there are assignments to be completed outside of class each week. 

6. As a new family, is my student guaranteed a spot in a class?

We can not guarantee a place in a class. Our registration for classes is a tiered system, so families who have been with us a long time get to register first. There will be openings in some of our classes; we just can’t guarantee which ones.

7. Do instructors give grades?

All upper school instructors give grades. 

8. What do upper school students do if they have an open period in their schedules and their guardian is not present?

Students are required to be either in a class or in study hall. There is a fee for study hall.
