About the Course
Shakespeare

This class is designed to gently introduce your child to the world of Shakespeare.  We will cover three plays using a well-written story version, and then listen to the play using "Arkangel Shakespeare" dramatized recordings.  We will investigate two main ideas from Shakespeare's world, consisting of the difference in a "comedy" and a "tragedy" and the Renaissance Cosmology idea of the "well-ordered man".  Students will be able to narrate the basic storyline and walk away knowing the context of familiar Shakespearean quotes.

About Hannah
Hannah

Hannah Berthold is a second generation homeschooler. She completed her Associate of Arts at Florida College where she met her husband, Brad and began their family of 5 children. Her continued education started when she chose to homeschool her own children and this began the best educational journey of her life! She grew to love all kinds of subjects but especially literature, including Shakespeare. Education became a way of life for her and hers. She lives on the Blue River in Harrison Co, IN and enjoys many things outdoors but especially kayaking, and exploring the lay of the river.
Thru the years she has accommodated a learning atmosphere that included other teens and adults to share the wealth of literature.
