About the Course
In Intro to Dance students will learn basic stretches and beginner ballet moves and positions. As Psalm 149:3 says, "They will be encouraged to praise God's name with dancing!" Students will use the new dance skills they develop to perform a dance at the end of each semester.
This class is an hour long, costs $120 for the whole year, and follows the K-6 schedule. They will need "ballet pink" ballet shoes for class and can wear clothes comfy to dance in like a dress with leggings. (Please do not allow your daughter to wear her ballet shoes outside.)
Dance is a fun way to learn balance, strength, determination, memorization, confidence, and teamwork. This class will also encourage your daughter to express herself in a safe and loving environment as she learns to worship God with her body appropriatley and beautifully.

Hello, I'm Sammie. I have taught girls ages three to nine beginner dance/ballet for several years and am excited to continue at Cornerstone. I am married to my supportive husband Alex and am privileged to homeschool our four awesome children. I love music of all kinds, singing, being outside barefoot and loud living room dance parties with my family.
