About the Course

In this class, students will learn how to identify bad arguments that are encountered in everyday life, which are known as fallacies. In this class we will focus on defining, recognizing, and correcting 28 different logical fallacies fitting into three major categories of relevance, presumption, and clarity. This course will not only aid the student in developing the wisdom of discernment, but will also make them better at other necessary skills, including writing and rhetoric.
Students will keep a notebook of fallacies that they encounter "in the wild." (Whether advertisements, arguments, interactions, and etc.)
Preferred payment methods are cash or check.
