Expectations and Homework
Students will be expected to practice 5 days a week for a certain amount of time based on their level. They will also be expected to be on time for their lesson with their instrument and any music they may have.

About the Course
Violin Lessons

Private violin lessons follow the elementary calender. Each lesson is thirty minutes long. 

 

 Students will begin with learning the basics of violin and music theory at their own pace and learning style. After that we'll explore a variety of music repertoire. Students will both play and listen to the many different styles of classical, fiddle, and contemporary music as well as play any favorite songs they have.

Hello there! Iā€™m Nadia Allen and I am tremendously excited about teaching violin this year! Violin is such a big and special part of my life and I hope to show my students how awesome it is, and how amazing music is, no matter what instrument you play!
I have played the violin for over ten years and have been part of both the Floyd County Youth Symphony and Louisville Youth Orchestra and the Master Artists Chamber Group.
